These rules, which have to do with things that are all destined to perish with use, are based on merely human commands and teachings. Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

Moonbeam why do you insist on showing your ignorance by making statements that aren't Biblical? Nowhere in the Bible does it say your have to have a "marriage license" or any other ritual to be considered married in God's eyes. The way my eyes see it, once a man and a woman have relations in bed they are married and if they are already married then it's adultery.
It's people who turn it into sin by having multiple partners. Adding rituals and other non Godly malarkey to marriage including no fault divorce doesn't change what God intended for marriage.
Marriage licenses and no fault divorces are used to steal from men and destroy both them and their children's lives. Definitely not Biblical.
